Veenstra Reizen started as a family business in Friesland and remains one today. We run our own fleet from Buitenpost, train our own drivers, and know the destinations we travel to because we visit them several times a year.

Good to know before you book
What does it cost to hire a coach with a driver?
The price depends mainly on the duration of the trip, the distance, the group size and the vehicle you choose. Because every trip is different, we do not work with fixed list prices — you receive a tailored, itemised quote within 24 hours, including driver, fuel and tolls.
Is the driver included in the price?
Yes. Every coach is hired with one of our own professional drivers. We do not rent out vehicles without a driver. Statutory driving and rest times are always built into the schedule we quote.
How far in advance should I book?
The earlier the better, especially for spring and summer dates, school trip season and weekends. That said, we regularly arrange transport at short notice — call us and we will tell you straight away what is possible.
Can you drive outside the Netherlands?
Yes. We operate throughout Europe, for single transfers as well as complete multi-day tours. Longer trips may require a second driver; if so, that is stated transparently in your quote.
Can we make intermediate stops or pick up at several locations?
Of course. Add the stops in the comments field of the quote form, or discuss them with your contact person. We build the route around your programme, not the other way round.
Can you accommodate wheelchair users?
Yes. We have wheelchair-accessible coaches with a lift and secured wheelchair positions, so mixed-ability groups can travel together. Let us know how many wheelchair spaces you need when you request your quote.
How can I keep the cost down?
Travel outside peak periods, book early, combine transport with entrance tickets through us, and bundle several trips in one booking. Your contact person will actively suggest where savings are possible.
